About
A systems builder exploring how humans communicate.
I’m David Feldt, a founder and builder who got obsessed with one question and never let it go:
How do humans actually communicate?
Most people see my work as fragments: a SaaS founder here, an AI builder there, a YouTube creator, a language learner, a guy posting field notes from Mexico. From the inside it’s one thing. Everything I do sits at the intersection of AI, language, culture and systems, pointed at that single question.
The throughline
My real skill isn’t code, or SaaS, or AI. It’s pattern recognition across systems and cultures, seeing the same structure show up in a football chant, a translation failure, an onboarding flow, and a language model, and building from it.
What lives here
- Field Notes, essays and observations on communication, language, culture, AI and systems.
- Projects, the software and media I’m building.
- The Field Notes newsletter, the same thinking, in your inbox.
If any of that resonates, the best way in is to read a field note or join the list.
